About My Journey Into Rest & Regulation
My path into yoga, meditation, and nervous system healing began the same way it does for many people—through exhaustion, searching, and a deep need to find another way. After years of pushing through life at a relentless pace, I found myself disconnected from my own body and intuition. Yoga was the first practice that helped me come home to myself. Meditation and Yoga Nidra deepened that homecoming, teaching me how to rest, listen, and trust what I found inside. Along the way, I trained formally in yoga, mindfulness, wellness counseling, and nervous system-centered practices—but it’s the lived experience that shaped me most. I know what it’s like to run on empty. I also know what it’s like to rebuild from a quieter, deeper place. True rest isn’t a luxury, it’s a remembering.
