The Weekly Flow
This four-week creative immersion is designed to help you reconnect with yourself through meditative art and guided inner exploration.
Each week offers a unique blend of intuitive drawing, mindful reflection, and simple practices to support your creative flow. The recommended time commitment is 1–2 hours per week, fully self-paced.
Kristen will be available throughout the program for personal guidance, questions, and feedback.
Week 1: Grounding & Safety In The Creative Process
Practice: Breath Drawing + Continuous Line Drawing
Meditation: Grounding Before Creative Practice
Focus: Creative work can stir up emotion, self-doubt, and inner resistance. This week invites you to begin from a grounded place, to settle your nervous system, and stay connected to yourself as you create. We learn to become steady, soften the need to control, and simply begin.
Week 2: Drawing From The Inside Out
Practice: Neurographic Art
Meditation: Intention Setting For Creative Work
Focus: This week, we’ll use line, shape, and color to help us process tension, soften inner edges, and uncover creative insight. Neurographic Art offers a structured, meditative way to explore emotion and open new pathways for expression. Let your intention guide your hand, and watch what begins to shift.
Week 2: Draw Without Thinking
Practice: Automatic Drawing
Meditation: No Thinking, Just Feeling: Letting Go Into Unbounded Self-Expression
Focus: Automatic Drawing invites total freedom. With no plan or outcome in mind, you’ll create from a place beyond thought. This week is about surrender, letting go of control, perfectionism, and judgment to allow surprising, unconscious imagery to emerge.
Week 4: Putting It All Together
Practice: Experimental Drawing - Artist’s Choice
Meditation: Heart-Brain Harmony For Deep Work
Focus: In our final week, you’ll integrate everything you’ve explored into one intuitive piece. Using any or all of the practices we’ve covered, you’ll let your creativity take the lead. This is a chance to play, explore, and create from a deeper, more connected place.

About Your Teacher
I’ve been drawing, painting, and creating since childhood, and have spent the past 25 years cultivating a deeply personal art practice centered on intuition, exploration, and self-inquiry.
After earning degrees in Art History and Visual Communication, I worked for years as a graphic designer and marketing professional. It was a time that honed my skills but eventually left me longing for something deeper. I returned to hands-on art-making and studied at the Honolulu Academy of Art School, a period I consider my personal MFA, where I learned to paint not just from technique, but from truth.
Throughout my adult life, my personal art journals have been a constant. They are living records of my inner life: volumes of sketches, writings, and imagery that trace growth, change, and understanding across decades. For me, art journaling is a way of staying connected to what’s real. It is a practice of witnessing my life in real time as it unfolds, one page at a time.
Today, my work focuses less on creating finished products and more on cultivating a living creative practice rooted in presence, emotional integration, and the freedom to express without judgment. Through Flow & Stillness I share this process with others, offering pathways to reconnect with creativity, self-awareness, and the simple joy of making art.
